We have been drinking Havana Cuban Real Trade coffee for some years now. We tried a number of different roasters and blends and Havana Cuban came out tops. This coffee is consistently delicious. We get it sent to Rotorua. The service is always prompt and hassle free. Highly recommend.
This is the best coffee!! And how great to get fair-trade and organic coffee in Patea, or a speedy arrival at your door! I love it
Driven by a passion for coffee and an inspired idea to build a roaster with a difference, Graeme and Tyson designed and built a beautifully engineered machine fondly known as 'Black Betty'. By batch roasting coffee over the glowing embers of Manuka wood, a distinctive warm, sweet and complex flavour is created. The coffee roasted from this machine has a range of flavours not found in regular gas-fired roasters. Black Betty is fired up every week to bring you fresh, batch roasted, delicious coffee. The boys spent time developing and refining the different roasts, to ensure a product they are proud of. There is much excitement surrounding Manuka Brothers' Coffee; the quality of this product is taking coffee to the next level.
Don't let the name of this cafe mislead you, these guys make seriously good coffee!!! The Pie Face custom blend is NZ Artisan roasted by Tiger Coffee. The beans are sourced from Papua New Guinea, India, Brazil and Colombia. This is an intense, full flavoured punchy coffee!
My wife and I live near Opononi in the Hokianga, and go fairly regularly on a Sunday morning's "jaunt" to Morrell's Cafe at Waimamaku near the Waipoua Forest. For some months now we have always enjoyed your coffee (usually as a 'Flat White') - and (a) I just wanted you to know how terrific is your flavour; (reminds us of years ago living in Italy and Portugal for a year!)
The roast and blend flavour is the best we've enjoyed here in our native NZ - (yes, we're elderly "Kiwis" - I'm now 88!) but the mellowness of your beans' flavour, takes us "back to the Mediterranean always"!!
Kindly please tell us where's "the best deal" (for we Pensioners) to purchase your beans?? Glynne Adams
